The Flair Team

After nearly 40 years of running the family business and seeing many changes in that time, I feel we are now ready and equipped to go forward into the 21st century able to meet any challenges. We strive to engage with our customers and suppliers creating a professional and pleasant experience when dealing with us. The most important thing for me is our staff who are totally loyal and dedicated: I have always treated them as part of our family.

Paul is responsible for the smooth running of the company. "I have seen a definite change in customers’ views: now service is as important as price and this is something at Flair that we pride ourselves on. Our products and services have always been built up to a standard rather than down to a price and this puts us in a good position for the future. Customers want to deal with a supplier who is responsive and pro-active, and the team at Flair are expert at this".

Terry is responsible for ensuring production runs smoothly with orders produced on time, every time."The last two and a half years have been very testing for everyone in the industry and I think there are still challenging times ahead but by working closely with customers Flair is still able to offer the same personal service with competitive pricing that it always has".

The production team makes sure customers get their orders on time and that the processes run without a hitch, Kim is a key member of that team. “Our team focuses on delivering even if it means working late to meet a tight deadline. Without doubt customer service is paramount at Flair".

Ben also plays a key role at Flair as the main liaison point with the shopfloor, making sure customers needs are met and if possible exceeded. “At Flair it’s a great working atmosphere but, make no mistake, customers always come first’’.

Johannah is responsible for overseeing the computerised system. She introduces new procedures when required to enhance the internal running of Flair. “I’m extremely proud of the fact that we are highly respected within the industry. This is due to the strong infrastructure and personal service Flair delivers to all our customers - small or large.”

The books are managed to audit standards by Elaine as well as payroll, sales and purchase accounts. “I joined Flair a year ago and I really enjoy working here – the people are the main reason, there is a real team spirit ”.

No goods come into or out of the building without Shirley booking them in and making sure the records are correct. She also welcomes visitors to Flair. “I have been at Flair for 31 years now and I love working here. Staff are treated very fairly, it’s a great company to work for”.
