Cable Assembly

As you would expect, our factory in Stevenage has a comprehensive range of production facilities and machinery so we can supply a full range of custom-built cable assemblies.

We don’t want to bore you with a long list of the machinery in our production line but to give you an idea we have the capability to supply:

  • Cables using JST, AMP, FCI and MOLEX crimps
  • SCSI 1,2 & 3 cables in both IDC and DISCREET wire
  • Patch cables to any length; colour and pin out in both shielded and unshielded assemblies
  • Cut to length, strip and partial strip wire of many types up to 6mm.

Investment

Recently Flair has invested in automation, as we know it's the best way to give our customers value for money and compete in what has become an extremely competitive market.

We aim to continue to invest: making sure that we have the right mix of skilled people, tools and equipment to make us as efficient as we can possibly be.

One of Flair’s latest acquisitions is the Rittmeyer all round rotary jacket stripping machine, it’s ideal for small, medium and large batch sizes.

We are also proud of our Schleuniger MP 257 that is ideal for small and large production runs and is essential for quality and repeatability in coaxial cable preparation and assembly.
