Bill and Carole Hickton founded Flair in 1972 – 38 years ago - and we are now a market leader in the supply of cable harnesses and interconnection solutions.
The business is still family run and we provide a service to our customers that few can match. We have a great team here at Flair, some of our staff have been here since we started, and we all have in-depth knowledge of our product range This means our customers receive expert technical help with both design and procurement. Same day samples can be provided to ensure a smooth path from enquiry to order another example of how we make our customers lives as easy as possible.
More and more customers are requesting smaller production runs on a more frequent basis. We have responded to this by introducing KanBan (an inventory control system for tracking the flow of in-process materials through the various operations of a just-in-time production process) and buffer stock holding options. This means we are able to save our customers the bother of having to go offshore with the associated long lead-times and high minimum order quantities.
